Hr Software Organization Units Are Dispersed Across the World

The operational global hr software organization units are dispersed across two continents with user front-end systems being developed in the United States, server software handled in Singapore, and customer support located in India. Releases from the two development sites are delivered to the United States and integrated in a common facility under the direction of a release management team. Each release is considered a project and, as such, is led by a project manager using staff from other units. While a server release may be generated in Singapore, it will be supported by product management, release management, and customer service personnel located elsewhere. There are approximately 1,800 professionals (architects, software engineers, managers, and so forth) and 500 support personnel (configuration management, quality assurance, and other such functions) working worldwide to provide IT support for the firm and its user base. The systems provided by IT support a multinational firm with operating arms and sales offices in over 100 nations.
